Spravato® (Esketamine)
For Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD) or Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).
Spravato® is the first FDA approved prescription nasal spray, administered under close-monitoring while in the office. The medication works differently than traditional antidepressants, targeting the NMDA (n-Methyl-D-Aspartate) receptors in the brain. TRD with SI is severe depression, with acute suicidal ideation. Use of Spravato® (Esketamine) can provide rapid relief from suicidal thinking as well as chronic, severe, depression symptoms.
