Elisa Bachmann


Elisa Bachmann is finishing her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University.

She has lived in Haiti working with an orphanage for over 3 years. Her work at Counseling Care is a calling that God has given to her as a young woman. Elisa believes brokenness, found in all of us, is a tool that can be used to connect us to each other instead of divide.

As a counselor she sees children, women, single and married couples. Her work in Trust-Based Relational Intervention works specifically with children and families that have endured trauma. Her hope is to walk alongside those that want to seek a life of transformation in Christ.

Lucas P. Bachmann, MD, Psychiatrist

Credentials Dr. Lucas Bachmann is a Dual Board Certified Psychiatrist in both Child and Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Bachmann is board eligible in Forensic Psychiatry. He received his undergraduate degree from Bethel University and is a medical graduate of the American University of the Caribbean. Dr. Bachmann completed his residency in adult psychiatry at the University of Connecticut. He completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent psychiatry at the University of Minnesota. He also completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the division of Law and Psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine.

In addition to his work at Counseling Care, Dr. Bachmann is a forensic psychiatrist at the St. Peter, Minnesota Security Hospital.

Dr. Bachmann was an American Red Cross Mental Health Volunteer, for the Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort and volunteered for a Native American Health Care Clinic in Minnesota.

Philosophy of Care “My goal is to deliver significant and positive impact to patients through psychiatric care. I enjoy caring for patients and families of all cultures and backgrounds. I believe that collaboration with my patients helps them maintain good health, and is beneficial in treating mental health challenges.”

In addition to Counseling Care, Jessica also works as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at the Minnesota Security Hospital.
